Games You Want a Sequel to

I really want to say Eternal Sonata since I really really love it, but I also sort of don't since tbh the game's story sort of ran its course with no real need for a sequel. So maybe a sort of spiritual successor sort of dealie with a similar game set in the same world with the same basic...

The game franchise you know the most

Pokemon, Pokemon, Pokemon. It's not exactly "knowledge" but I can gush about Pokemon Mystery Dungeon in specific for hours on end :V I'd also like to consider myself pretty knowledgeable about Fire Emblem and Kingdom Hearts, and I know a smattering of Metal Gear trivia despite having never...

Why Metal Gear Rising was Awful.

This is the first thread I've ever read on this entire forum and I have to say it's absolutely spectacular :V Like, not to sound excessively rude or anything but the sheer amount of exasperation in the posts as the arguments continue on is something to behold. OP's continued response to...

    Your favorite instrument

Trumpet, saxophone, flute, I really started liking pan flute music after playing Zelda Spirit Tracks, too.

Your most anticipated game of 2011?

Skyward Sword, Pokemon Black and White, Dissidia 2... and those are just the ones I can think of off the top of my head!

    I Still Play Pokemon...

Oshawott is indeed an awesome name. I've decided to just suspend my disbelief and embrace the 5th-Gen Pokemon for what they are: extremely silly. Not that there's anything wrong with that. I'm personally more particular to Snivy, but Oshawott's evolutions are really cool, if you've seen them. I...

    Zero Punctuation: Metroid Other M

I really liked the game, actually. Though, like Mario Galaxies 1+2, Zelda Phantom Hourglass, and NSMBWii, I also really loved this review. Yahtzee made some excellent points about the game, many of which I agree with, looking back on my experience. Also, I see what he did there with the Metroid...

I got sucked in... AGAIN! (Games that you always come back to)

RPGs. Mostly ones with customizable parties, like Pokemon and the Final Fantasies that use job classes. In fact, I'm balancing playthroughs of Final Fantasy V and Pokemon Firered right now.

    Zero Punctuation: Webcomics

I wonder if Yahtzee's read Sonichu? His description of the "main character" archetype seems to suggest that he has, since he perfectly described the comic version of Sonichu creator Christian Weston Chandler.

Rebecca Mayes Muses: Resident Evil 5

This is an excellent perspective on the whole "zombie plague" genre; it is indeed not their fault. It's not a zombie's fault that for one reason or another the zombie apocalypse has happened and now we're all zombies.

New Legendary Pokémon Herald Black & White Release in 2011

It's been confirmed that both legendaries are Dragon-Type. Based on the appearance and colour scheme, they'll probably give Reshiram a secondary Psychic-Type, and Zekrom would be Dark-Type (in which case I'd pick and use Zekrom, since I never seem to have a good Dark-Type on my team in Pokemon...

New Legendary Pokémon Herald Black & White Release in 2011

*Sigh* I wonder how long till Rule 34 has its way with Reshiram... :(

    any good GameCube games?

I like Mario Sunshine too. Other Gamecube games I like are Mario Kart: Double Dash!!, Zelda: The Wind Waker, and Metroid Prime 2: Echoes. I prefer the first Metroid Prime, but no one is recommending the second, which I really enjoyed as well.
