    Bumhug Parade #12

Love the announcers expression in the second panel. Great comic!

Alt+Escape: Every Day the Same Dream

Really great game, thought provoking if not very entertaining. During the final level and after the ending I just sat and stared at the screen. It was rather sad, but nice to see something different.

Poll: Which system has the best looking 2010 so far?

I'll say PS3 because of Heavy Rain and The Last Guardian. Bioshock 2 as well, though that is multi-platform.

    Games you've 100%'d

I haven't completed a game 100 % in this generation, not with all the Trophies. I tried to do it with Uncharted, got most of of the trophies expect for finding all hidden treasures. Before that, Shadow of the Colossus and Gun.

    Good Games for New Gamers

A simple and not too hard game could be PixelJunk Eden. While it doesn't have any story whatsoever, it still is a beautifully designed game that doesn't demand that the player put in a lot of effort. For different gaming experiences, what about Flower or Linger in Shadows? I haven't played...

    The Gaming Nostalgia Thread

I never owned a console before the PS2, so my gaming nostalgia catalog is based on the wonderful world of DOS I played both Commander Keen and the shareware version of Death Rally (which has just been released as a full windows version!) like a million times. The same with Raptor: Call of the...

    Out-cute-ing LOLcats

No. That thing is too much. Kittens are cute, this is just scary and creepy.

Poll: are you happy with your username.

I would change it since I didn't really think too carefully about it when I chose one. My PSN username is quite long and in Danish, so most people won't be able to read or pronounce it properly. Fortunately, I don't play a lot of multiplayer, so it's not a very big deal.

Plot and graphics not paramount in videogame success

Yes, the gameplay is the most important aspect of a game, but a great plot can really deliver some substance to a game, and for me personally is a big factor when choosing games. Take Silent Hill as an example where the story has higher priority than the gameplay.

Poll: Imagine a paradise...without your friends and family?

Well, if this paradise is eternal, I guess I can make friends with whoever ends up being in my paradise. And if I can't have my friends, then I can at least choose the qualities and interests of all the strange people up there.

Great games that only exist in your head

That... doesn't sound very fun. I think that deliberately breaking the game for reality's sake will only alienate players. Looking in the manual every time you have to reload your weapon doesn't sound like the best experience, and it would also break the immersion. Silent Hill did it to a...

Poll: What was your first First-Person Shooter?

Doom for PC was my first shooter, but that was already outdated when I played it around 2000. But I wasn't - and isn't - really into shooters, plus we didn't have a very good computer and I didn't own a console at the time, so that was all I tried.

    The artist in thee

Very well written, I must say. The physical setting and action of the whole scenario is very surreal, but still you write the scene with such intensity that the emotions seem both real and extreme. Hmm… Too much of a good thing can be sickening, I guess. Perhaps it is because when we are...

What's the longest you've ever slept

17 hours after staying up all night. I went to bed at 4 PM and woke up the next morning and didn't even hear my alarm clock.

What are you listening to right now?

Lemonade by G. Love. Just received the album by mail today. It's deliciously mellow.
