Just thought I'd step in to say that I agree with you when it comes to FF12! I think that more people have come to appreciate it as time goes on- holding out hope for an HD version.

Would it be fair to say that Dark Souls 2 would be a good starting point for someone such as myself, who is quite curious about the Souls games but hasn't had the courage to step in just yet? Xenosaga would be my pick. I really wanted to get into this series, but the first game is so godawful it killed my desire to check out the reportedly improved sequels. Story was interesting and the villain was fantastic, though.

Considering that games like Chrono Trigger still look good as far as I'm concerned, I can safely say that I am a fan of pixel art if done well.

I'm definitely excited for it. I enjoyed 4 Heroes of Light well enough, and I'm a sucker for classic Final Fantasy.

Games I like. I'm not buying a PS4 until Final Fantasy XV and Kingdom Hearts III are both out. Until then, I plan on getting a Wii U for Wind Waker, X, and the inevitable new Zelda, as well as so I can catch up on Wii games (Xenoblade, Skyward Sword, Last Story, and Pandora's Tower.)
