You have 48 Hours to Live.

I would purchase a DeLorean, fill it up with crates of nitroglicerine (or some other unstable chemical compound) and drive myself off a cliff. Ya know, go out with a bang.

    COD 4 : AK47 OR M16 (OR M4)

To my knowledge, this was only an issue in 'Nam, and only then because the AK-47 works better in unfavorable conditions than the M-16. And they were banned because soldiers who had lifted AK's where taking friendly fire more often than not.

Games you wonder if anyone else has played...

With what's happened to the Rainbow Six franchise, I sometimes wonder if I'm the only one who loved the originals (up to 3, actually, tho' I could see that they were starting to loose it at 3). And Heavy Gear 2. I have a lot of friends who love Mechwarrior, but I don't know anyone who has...

Games you wish you HADN'T bought...

It's pretty simple, actually. Build mass extractors on the mass nodes, and build power plants everywhere else. It's about the simplest resource management you can find in an RTS, there's not much you can do to cock it up. Assuming you haven't removed the game from your HDD, you could try...

A Question For Americans - What Is Your Perception Of "Adults Only" Games?

AO games are generally porn, so they wouldn't be sold at a general store anyways. So this whole "kiss of death" thing is irrelevant. Also, whoever got that idea in there head that "there are only 30 AO games" needs to do some research (I can't link anything, 'cause the porn). Automatic...

Games you wish you HADN'T bought...

Wait, what? I did like the destructible environments. It was always nice knocking a building down on someone. But I got it at release, so it was like 40$... Or 50$. I don't remember.

Games you wish you HADN'T bought...

Mech Assault. Whoever thought turning Mechwarrior into a console/action game was a good idea deserves to be beaten to death with his own dismembered arms. It wasn't a bad game, in the same way that the recent Shadowrun wasn't technically a bad game, but it was such a departure from the rest of...

    Does anyone here know c++?

What? I only took rudimentary courses in a few programming languages, but C++ didn't seem any more difficult than anything else. Then again, I'm no programmer, so I wouldn't know for sure.

Buying Games in your country: What's it like?

To be fair, they have to do this. Or at least I did when I worked at Gamestop.

Buying Games in your country: What's it like?

Preorders are only necessary on high-profile releases, like Halo or Brawl. That being said, preordering at, say, Gamestop is nice enough. I buy the game a month or so ahead of time, and walk in on release day and just pick it up. And if something else catches my eye, I can grab that too...

Buying games from STEAM = ripoff?

And if the disc is lost, or irreparably damaged? You're SOL then, aren't you. That was my point. EDIT: Gremlin beat me to it :) And as to the prices, again, I notice no diference between the prices I see on STEAM, and the prices I've seen in local retail stores.

Buying games from STEAM = ripoff?

It's the price you pay for convenience, I suppose. No CDs to keep up with, and if you get a new HDD you can just recover everything tied to your account. Personally, I never noticed the price jacks (it doesn't seem as bad where I live; the prices seem the same in most stores) If it really...

    Best Soundtrack in a game

Mechcommander and Total Annihilation both had good fightin' music that would slow down when the action died off. I also like the music in Final Fantasy, tho the songs seem to be pretty simmilar from game to game. Anything with piano music is also fine by me (the Seige of Madrigal secret in...
