I have to say I agree! I got it for 360 & the loading times are just horrendouse and the loading screens are just black! You get the cards to read for the screens that load quickly! What's the point?
It doesn't help that the big battle isn't at all like I thought it would be. I thought...
It's sad that I agree so heart breakingly. ScrewAttack was similar. The golden age for that website was about 2007-2009 as when the big personalities of the site left, the replacements (though no fault of their own) can't hold up and it becomes a revolving door. The website gets more popular...
A reviewed length of a game usually doesn't last as long as someone actually playing the game. Reviewers tend to be pressed for time so they do tend to have to rush things (I know as I had to review L.A Noir in only 3 days). Plus it's their job to play the game and so tha's what they do at...
Deus Ex, Deus Ex Invisible War, for classic sci-fi rpg. The two Alien Vs Predator games (first two) for a proper story compared to the crap films. If you want to go proper classic how about the Blake Stone games? gog is doing a fps icon bundle sale right now which would be worth checking out...
They're both wrong! Thompson is wrong because he advocates that videogames cause violent behaviour, where any sane person can differentiate between a fictional world and the real world, knowing full well the difference between right and wrong.
Anita is wrong because she offers no argument...
Trying to remember some of the films I've seen this year.
Number one has to be Twelve Years A Slave. Came out here in the UK in January. Absolutely amazing film.
Second is The Lego Movie. Really enjoyed it. Funny, imaginative, and a blast to watch.
Third is Captain America Winter...
"Hardcore" & "Casual" are pathetic buzzwords that were put into circulation as the last gen was starting up and since then has taken off into a ridiculous segregation of people who become defined by other people based on the games they play or how long they play them for. It's one of the main...
My dad brought home our first PC. It was a Compaq with Windows 3.1! We had a floppy disc with a pac-man & Space Invaders clones on, golf and chess. Me & brother played them to death. It was how I learnt how to play chess. I also found Commander Keen on there as well.
Then for my 4th...
You do bring up a good point. Id something becomes less of a taboo then there's less curiosity around it. If drugs like weed were legalised to a certain extent (obviously the strength would have to be regulated), it would have less of a stigma and would appeal less to younger people as a cool...
The day Nintendo go will be a dark day indeed! The distinctive lack of innovation in gaming nowadays I put squarely down to the loss of Sega (and Atari to a small extent) leaving the hardware market. Now its just Nintendo. Say what you want about the Wii & the Wii U but at least Nintendo are...
I'm a firm beleiver that comedy is open to everything and that nothing is off limits! That joke wasn't being aimed at trans people it was just a metaphor created for that particular point. It wasn't malicious or anything like that. Granted jokes can be taken the wrong way but I belive that...
It's a travesty no one else has mentioned the legend that is Attenborough! That man could do a documentary on the history of socks and I would listen attentively!
I would also add Charles Dance, and Kate Beckinsale, her natural voice is so sultry it makes me melt!
Ronnie Corbett has...
Its been said already but Alpha Protocol! Though I doubt this will happen! Obsidian & Sega didn't exactly have the bet relationship while that game was being made!
I did like the story & rpg stuff (what obsidian does best), I hated the combat and terrible gameplay!
Agreed! Loved...
Loving the way this thread has panned out! Some great tunes I've never heard before like S.W.A.T. Cats.
Thunderbirds and Captain Scarlett are superb choices.
For sci-fi show I would have to go with the very overlooked Blake's 7.
I'm amazed no one has mentioned Buck O'Hare or...
