    New Gaming PC

Ahk, I was looking at the Mac more as a sound machine than a games machine and didn't think I'd play games on it, I've experimented with wrappers and boot camp but it's just too much of a hassle to get working so I've decided to go all out.

Well I'm Australian too, so $1000 dollars sounds ideal to me. Where did you look for your parts?

    New Gaming PC

Actually the Macbook Pro was for uni and primarily running Pro Tools and Logic etc. and compatibility with the Mac's at uni I always knew it was going to be terrible for games I just thought I'd use my Xbox and not the computer. Also My cousin and one of my friends were telling me about gaming...

    New Gaming PC

Allright, so for uni this year I bought a Macbook Pro, which is terrible for gaming and silly me thouhgt "It's allright I won't use it for games." While Valve titles are fun and all, I really want to get into better PC gaming. The budget is around $2000 give or take, and I want something that...

    NCAA Football 12 Retraction

I agree, I didn't read the review and have never played or liked the games, but this 'retraction statement' for lack of a better term has already boosted my confidence in the Escapist. Nice one guys!

    Is 4 cups too much?

I love coffee either a long black or a latte (depends on where I'm buying it, it's hard to get a good long black) For a while I was drinking one or two a day sometimes 3 (these are tall cups). Though lately I'm back to one a day and less than 5 a week. I cut back or tried to because I...

    so much for the 360

I've had two, one of the launch 360's that red ringed once and was fixed withing warranty which lasted until a really hot and humid week last year and then died for good. I then had all the excuse I needed to get one of the 250GB slim 360's. If only I was a fatcat again with a well paying job...

BioWare Asks Fans About Showing Tali's Face in Mass Effect 3

At one point Shepard can end up on a whole ship full of Quarians and another that was inhabited by Quarians, so there could be an opportunity there. Though honestly I'm all for keeping the masks on, let each person imagine their own version of her face, that's how you keep everyone happy.

    Mom-friendly 'pretty' rpg

Oblivion is a decent choice (i.e. good game) but I'm not so sure it's mum friendly, I'm going out on a limb here and saying you and I play a lot of games. We find games a bit more intuitive to in general, but I remember picking up Morrowind as like the third game I played (granted Oblivion is...
