People are wrong on the internet! What gets your goat?

People who think that your taste in entertainment is somehow a mark of yourself person. Obviously you can tell a fair bit about someone based on what they like to do (i.e someone who enjoys sky-diving is probably more of a thrill-seeker than someone who builds model ships) but when it comes down...

Do you like "found footage" films?

Maybe it's because I've only really seen two of them and hence it's got the added freshness factor, but I'd say I like it. As a big fan of disaster movies I liked how Cloverfield really put you into the shoes of one of the thousands of people running through the city streets as shit gets torn...

PewDiePie Beaten to dust! Also tell us bad let's players.

Wow, going to such an effort to kick up such a stink over a fucking let's-player. At the end of the day there's no good let's-player or bad let's player, and I really don't care how much money they make or if they were the supposed founding father of let's-plays as long as I am entertained. It's...

    Ha ha! Racist.

In all fairness, the clash between ancient tribal mysticism and cold jungle mercenary operations was one of the features of the early Far Cry games (In your post you talked about how this trailer clashed with Far Cry 2 and it's Heart Of Darkness themes, and well, Far Cry 2 clashed with Far Cry)...

    Dear Movie Bob .....

Am I the only who'd like to see MovieBob do an episode talking about how EVERY STEPHEN KING BOOK IS INTER-CONNECTED? I mean cripes, he did pretty well doing that for the Marvel films in the lead-up to The Avengers. And let's just face facts here people, it'd be interesting as hell seeing how...

Wouldn't the world be generally much better If the population were like the escapists?

But when everyone's Escapist, noone will be Still, if you want to live amongst people you were describing then just move to Canada.

Do you think there will ever be another war like WWII?

Well...no. Not only for the fact that any war on that political scale would probably jusst turn into nuking, but looking at things I feel like the conflicts of the 20th century have sort of taught all the major powers a lesson. On top of that, let's say that tomorrow England declared war on...

Define "A Well Writen Gay Character" in Gaming.

Unless it's part of the plot-line then yeah, just write a character who happens to be gay. I suppose adding onto that just avoid doing anything cliched (making a gay man very flamboyant, worried about his looks and so on, making a gay woman moody, pandering and so on).

    Poll: Games aren't gay enough.

Personally I think that putting more LGBT characters into games could do a lot of good for the world. Considering how widely the medium's loved (especially by younger generations) if more of these characters could be subtly worked into games then it could go well towards making such a thing just...

Smegging Hell! Here's the Poster for Red Dwarf X

Smegging excellent! From what I've seen posted from following the official Facebook page of the show it's looking to be a great series, I just hope it's slightly less serious than Back To Earth was.

TV shows that jumped the shark

And I recognise your avatar from "Better Than Life" :D As for me, I'd have to say True Blood. Admittedly I've only watched up to season 4, but here's my run-down: Season One: Clever and grounded premise (if vampires were real and part of the everyday world, and that was it), sharp writing...

Things From Skyrim You'd Like to See in Fallout 4

Hmmm...definitely the fluid conversations with NPCs, the items and quotes which appeared in the loading screens as they made me eager to look for the one-of-a-kind weapons and pieces of armour in display (and all the quotes and recounts of Skyrim and Tamriel's history made the world feel a...

Spec Ops Multiplayer Is a "Cancerous Growth"

While I'm not sure of other countries, I certainly know that it's release date here in Australia a few months ago was just begging for the game to fall flat. This game was released over here in pretty much the middle of the year, not only is that just a time when the release tap is slowed to...

    Favourite Level Type

I really enjoy levels that go full on industrial, scrabbling over giant turning gears, dodging steam, swinging on chains, that kind of thing. I almost crapped myself when I found out about the Dwemer Ruins in Skyrim.
