This is a Steam release aim toward a trending marketplace. The reality is that with the change in gaming industry from dedicated "gamers" to the multitudes of casual players has alter the content of the industry as a whole. It is not as if releases such as this are the only ones on the market...

My number one rule for successful game development is always capitalize on what your good at and if it ain't broke don't fix it. Make changes on a different franchise title but if a game is successful chances are people want it to remain familiar it's just human nature.

For me the deciding factor will be on how much freedom is given to the player during memory augmentation. If I'm not able to see a defined approach to a successful outcome it will add to the level of immersion, yet if I'm stuck between three options etc it will be a bit of a let down. If they...

I agree that Sony will really have to show the new system is either so much more advanced than what I am currently using or this " game" will only be on the ps4 and said game sways me to buy the system just to play it, much like I have with the mentioned Zelda/Halo titles.
