Mine goes back many years to when I was a kid and has rattled around in my conciousness since.
It was an advert for Bic disposable razors. The jungle had a line lauding the durability of the razor and purported that they lasted "Up to a week and often more"

I enjoyed it a lot, I wasn't busting a gut at the writing to be honest, but props to whoever does the sound mixing... You can relax into the comedy so much more when the production is good. Not meaning any offence by this, but just wanted to give a shout to the unsung heroes in the back room :)
Maybe it's the game genre, my only real experience is with driving sims. There aren't that many female drivers around, but the ones that are tend to be bloody good, it only takes a couple of laps before flirting gives way to "Incredible lap luv, what's your wing setting?" :)
My perspective comes from the opposite end of the spectrum. I'm useless at games.
99% of my gaming time is spent sim racing, which took me a good few years to reach a level where I'm competent enough to give a good showing in most company.

I think your approach just differs. Testosterone plays less of a part now. I was playing ArmA2 earlier with the same lads that I play racing simulations with and the uber competitiveness has given way to just enjoying a social experience. Gaming is the medium, Ventrilo and the game du jour are...
This is my back-burner game. I don't play many FPS games, but I loved the look of this so much that I keep it for when I'm really in the mood... then I love it. I don't rush around or over analyse it, I just drink it in :)
