Well for a start plants don't feel pain and a Venus fly trap or any other plant with defence mechanisms can't think for it's self so can't consider the consequences. you even said that 'plants have no mental capacity' yourself.

As simple as I can put it... I don't eat ANY animals because I don't like the thought of eating something that couldn't defend it's self physically or mentally.

Humm... I won't buy specific games because of their composers but I will on the other hand buy game soundtracks if I like them enough. So wherever that places me.

I met one of my Danish friends when he came over to the UK he stayed at mine for a few days after some convention. It was a blast soooo glad we did it.
