It's far too nihilistic to go the way of Bleach. The writer is currently at a point where he's killed off so many characters he's going through ass-pulls up the wazoo to try and keep some alive and even then we're faced with russian-roulette style situations.

If this is your gripe wait for season 3 to come out. The writer basically put in a filler arc just because he doesn't know what to do with the story, more people die, the story doesn't progress and at his writing pace he'll be getting to series 3 in like 4 years. To further illustrate this...

It sounds like they took away the shenagigans and replaced them with Matt Leblanc, that just doesn't work. Despite Hammond being annoying on his own he had an undeniable chemistry with Clarkson and May.

I'm not going to spoil anything here apart from saying it becomes worse, much worse. Currently the manga is in a place where there's almost nothing left to work with, heck I wouldn't be surprised if they just ended it right now.

Total War has a big playerbase in places around the world where the blood and gore would bump their rating, I think this might be why they leave it out.

Whilst immensely popular , Lord of The Rings caught a lot of flak on the story part. It was filmed nicely and grandiose but even the LoTR movies sort of shredded the lore, nevermind what the Hobbit did afterwards.

Watch dogs one wasn't a bad concept, just underwhelming after the hype and a tad buggy. If they've significantly improved upon it this could be a blast.
