Sony: Backwards Compatibility Is Never Coming Back

So vearry happy with my BC PS3, playing God of War with texture smothing in wide-screan progresive scan glory. It makes me sad for all those nay-sayers who refused to uprade a year ago. The way the PS2 emulation works on the system makes me belive that there is an actual pice of hardwhare...

    Metal thread

Austrian Death Machine. Go look them up. They are awesome. Also I'm getting psyched about Dethalbum II (Dethklok), It's great to hear drummer Gene Hoglan (formerly of Straping Young Lad and manny others) still kicking @$$. Plus they are coming to town with f*cking Mastodon! GNYAHHH!

Sony Charges Third-Parties for Selling DLC

I already pay to have Internet, pay for the game, and pay for DLC, why another $5 a month? (I can almost hear the sound of a million Xbots justifying setting money on fire...) But to the topic at hand, while this might discourage developers release free stuff, it certainly shouldn't affect...

    Review: Killzone 2

I think that the review was far and accurate. For me the pluses out way the minuses in a big way, and this game is worth 60 bucks. Graphically the game ranges from Good to Amazing, with the average landing about on Great (the Helghast character models lit up by a muzzle at close range is...

Unforgotten Realms: Episode 14: Tonight I Dine On Turtle Soup

Funny cant wait for the next episode (which will surely advance the plot with a DBZ like crawl... wait a second, dead character waiting to be resurrected through some kind of absurd plot device... drawn out duologue sequences that eat up the whole episode... S.S. Paladin? I've got you figured...

    Zero Punctuation: LEGO Indy

OK first off to everybody out there Lego Indy is NOT better than MGS4, MGS is about the experience, which it had in spades (IMAO)and was totally rad, plus for those of you who like online gaming MGO is very cool. Sorry I know I am a total douchebag for bringing that one up again. Good review...

Ahead of its Time: The Fall of Max Payne 2

Max 2 was absolutely great and it pains me that idiot who didn't even play it has the first comment. I didn't get to play 2 on the PC (sadly), but even on a PS2 it was f*cking fantastic because the story was great, the levels were fun and the action was insane. Plus the way they tweaked the...

Zero Punctuation: Metal Gear Solid 4

I couldn't help but notice that a lot of things he complained about were fixable from too many cutscenes (skip them) to the infinite trank gun and week enemies (stop playing on the easiest difficulty you wanker) then proceeded to skip over all the really awesome elements of the game (because...

    Most disappointing game?

Somehow Team Fortress 2 didn't grab me... and I loved the original... and Portal was awesome! OK it was short... but still it was basically a Half Life 2 TC so I didn't expect to be long... even if Valve made it.

What Would Be The Greatest Game-To-Movie Adaption

GTA, Directed by Quintin Tarantino, Staring Vinnie Jones (and probably Tarantino somewhere). OK that's basically pulp fiction, but in order to cover a story with the kind of arc GTA has, it would take a trilogy of 2 1/2 hour moves, pure epic debauchery... too good to ever be made....

    Zero Punctuation: Painkiller

Classic game, a decent video... I had no problems with loading BTW... This review points out what I have been saying for along time, if forms of entertainment (movies, games, books, etc.) would focus on doing ONE thing really well (in this case killing people) we wold on average get better...
