When I first saw ads for Warm Bodies, it reminded me of Fido, with an obviously current setting in place if the Stepford-esque one of Fido. Are there further parallels or is this just imagined on my part?

The signs were ACTUALLY all over New York. Not just in the Javits Center, but I saw a few of these on telephone poles and lamposts on the streets between Penn Station and the Convention Center. Made me smile.
I ONLY started playing D&D because of girls. My school, a women's college, had/has a fairly large 30+ member role-playing club that wasn't exclusively female. I've since graduated and as I type this, my friend and I are rolling up new characters for a friend's campaign.
