Riot reworks Fiora, completely destroys her

Make the jump to heroes. The melee heroes are more fun, and the patches make shitty characters better.

What are the best RTS game mods?

Myth 2 was like the most moddable RTS ever, with lots of great total conversions and custom maps. Off the top of my head: -There was a samurai mod that gave you real-world styled samurai, ninjas, pikemen etc in place of the regular units. Shipped as an official plugin in the Linux release and...

Where can I buy Garou: Mark of the Wolves?

I will also say that while I LOVE all things SNK/ADK, and Garou IS a fantastic game... Third Strike is technically better in almost every respect. More involved, fluid combos, the art and animation... The main reason to compare them is that both feature a mechanic where if you block at the very...

Where can I buy Garou: Mark of the Wolves?

The NEO-GEO X is your best bet if you want to do it legit. It's a modern emulation handheld made by SNK's copyright holder and can connect to your home power and television. http://neogeox.com/ Apart from that, NEo-Geo arcade cabs can be surprisingly cheap, especially if you're willing to...

Would you buy a Knights of the Old Republic Reboot?

Did you play Jade Empire? It's basically KOTOR in a fantasy kung-fu setting with smoother combat and shinier graphics. It has some hiccups, mostly related to how some enemies require a specific fighting style to kill (GOLEMS!!!) But it is, overall, a similar experience with its own unique bits.

Would you buy a Knights of the Old Republic Reboot?

I'd like a KOTOR that doesn't force you to be a Jedi. That game had a huge, rich skill tree derived (apparently) from the tabletop, but if you invest in anything but Jedi stuff you're quite clearly doing it wrong. Oh, let's be honest. I want a Boba Fett RPG.

Making an RTS, what do YOU want?

It seems like in many RTS games, rushing or turtling dominate depending on how good/cheap defenses are. I'd like to see an RTS with on-map objectives like Civ:BE or HotS, so players are encouraged to do something and conflict emerges from those goals clashing. For instance, say your AI faction...

    Good Value, Bad Value

I go by movies. So it costs me about 11 dollars to go to a movie and movies are usually 90 minutes to 2 hours. So a game costs 5-6 movies; if I enjoyed it for at least 10 hours then I'm happy. You might think this would be an easy metric to succeed by, but it's not. Evolve only just this...

Steam restricting accounts which have not spent money

Look for those of you who still think this is unfair, consider this: SOOOO many indi devs are going to see spikes in sales as scammers gobble up whatever the cheapest titles are so they can keep scamming! It's GOOD FOR DEVELOPERS!

    Deus Ex: Technology and style.

The visual design of the game is just added language to show the division between directions for humanity. Those opposed to augmentation have an aesthetic in their clothing, buildings, etc that looks current, while Seraph's GQ and the augs on many civilians have a sort of baroque, renaissance...

Steam restricting accounts which have not spent money

I 100% support this. It's a PITA ignoring 8 or 10 people every time I check my friends list.

I don't think Heroes of the Storm is a good enough game to support an eSports community.

Right, but every time I try it just sits and spins. At least among parties I'm being matched to, everyone seems to be playing coop or one of the matched modes. I'm sure that will improve when the game opens up, though. It wouldn't be a problem except I'm sure I'm learning bad habits that a human...

I don't think Heroes of the Storm is a good enough game to support an eSports community.

I can't speak to HOTS as a true competition because I can never score a quick match and I haven't ranked up enough for any of the other PVP modes. :/ I'm not sure it's smart for a game to make players grind against bots, who almost certainly won't be like human players, for hours before...
