You're gonna need a guide for both Persona 2 games because of the negotiation system. Unless you want to keep writing it down, which I'm sure you don't. I've only played like an hour or more of Persona 1 but I think a guide might be required for that too. A lot of people say to skip that game...

I don't have too much experience with Jak series, but I have played Sly Cooper. I think you should go with that. I enjoyed them more than Jak series. Only problem is that the games are really short, but they are more fun to play than Jak in my opinion.

Yes, I think you should definately get it. I take mines everywhere. There are tons of good games you can play on the system, And playing Persona 4G and Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD on the go is awesome.

I want to say the Suikoden games. Really an underrated RPG series. The game is fun, collecting 108 characters, building your castle, war battles + Minigames, really a great series. But I feel it's only known by hardcore RPG fans.

I'd want to make RPGs. Something with a good story and a good battle system.
