I can't remember what game but I remember I was playing with the autosave off and using quicksave, I quicksaved when I fell off a cliff in a panic and had to restart the whole game as I couldn't salvage myself XD I was like 70% through.

What sort of games do you like? Older titles mean you're going to get more bang for your buck. Mabye try Jade Empire
