Screen Legend Christopher Lee Dies at 93

Actor, Singer, Occultist, Gentleman and STILL metal as frack, top-secret badass Nazi hunter, terrifying in his 90s...if he were fictional he'd be a Mary Sue. Instead, he was Christopher Lee, and he was one of a kind. R.I.P.

Oldboy Remake - Trailer and thoughts

It's a Korean film, released 10 years ago. Fantastic star, fantastic director, some blistering action & dramatic sequences, and some REAL dark and fudged-up stuff. It's become rather a favourite of film buffs, but it's never had any real mainstream release or recognition. Very much worth...

    LoadingReadyRun: Jonny Four

Stay strong, J-Hammer; if it, like, be meant to be with you and the other J that makes the J-man into a double-J, then it will be. Y'know?

    Favorite current actor?

Michael Sheen. His range is extraordinary, his physicality flawless in any role, the intensity he can bring, and his utter emotional believability. Other than that, Michael Fassbender has never been less than jaw-dropping in recent years.

    Scariest sounds in games

Yes! Absolutely. That...wheezing, shuddering, vaguely visceral breathing with the dragging of the feet. And the brilliance is, you meet the first one before you really know what the deal is with them; so the first one, I confidently stuck three shotgun rounds in its face...and the smile dropped...

Are you actually good at gaming?

Love games, but suck mightily at them. Dunno why, it's not like I have noticable poor reflexes/hand-eye coordination/lateral thinking in real life, but in games... Doesn't make any difference, I just play on easy and enjoy myself.

    Yahtzee is to blame...

I call it 'Pulp Fiction' syndrome; it was my favourite film as a lad, was super-excited when we got to study it in Media. Then, after 3 months of constant analysis and scrutiny, I hated the damn thing because all the magic had gone. Haven't watched it since. I see the purpose of Yahtzee's...

    Wait, what? That really happened?

I was under the impression that Christmas songs had been around since Christianity - celebrating second-biggest festival in song. The actual wandering-around-singing thing is related to wassailing, and the word 'carol' comes from the old French word meaning a dance. Why yes, I did use to be a...
