Dark Souls 2 ruined video games for me :(

Try some other games then. If you can't find a game that you like after so many different games after Dark Souls 2 then your problem has little to do with Dark Souls II. Try to play again Dark Souls, or Demon's Souls, if you haven't played it already, this game is a real treasure.

Here we go again: Anita Sarkeesian and the gaming community

You could just have said what you wanted to say without the irony. I don't know if I'm asking for too much here... Fyi, I will sleep well at night regardless.

Here we go again: Anita Sarkeesian and the gaming community

I don't know, I'm disappointed and I feel like a complete idiot for anticipating Mirror's Edge II. I was also one of the few gamers that didn't throw stones against EA; I wasn't exactly supporting them, but I thought all this hatred against EA was unjustified. Well in a way EA managed to prove...

Why I love Resident Evil 5

the two games responsible for this "neo-zombie" era that we live are RE 4 for the talking, driving and shooting zombies and also not to forget, Left 4 Dead for running zombies, and for the whole first person shooter culture that brought with it.

Why I love Resident Evil 5

When I first played Dino Crisis 2 I though I was playing a next-gen video game, in terms of graphics, and game-play speed, it was way above the average Playstation game. Though personally I loved more the style of Dino Crisis 1. More old scvhool type.

Why I love Resident Evil 5

Me too! I played this holiday Leon A, Claire A and Leon B. I got tired and quit before starting Claire B. But I had a terrific time for three-four days. I would kill to play again a new game like you described above. You should also check about the Resident Evil 1.5 project. I think at the end...

Why I love Resident Evil 5

And speaking of memorable RE characters here is my list: Barry of RE1 Leon and Claire of RE2 Jill with the Regina costume of RE3 Alexia from RE: Code Veronica and bodybuilder athlete Chris from RE5, oh and I forgot the two Spaniards policemen in the beginning of RE4.

Why I love Resident Evil 5

All valid points, I agree with most of them. 1. "Smart" zombies. - Yeah, nothing beats slow moving Night of the Living Dead type of zombies. 2. Zombies using weaponry. -Ridiculous I agree. 3. Automatic weapons. - Same. 4. Somebody managed to successfully create a hybrid of Chris...

Why I love Resident Evil 5

So why I love RE 5, or better, why do I feel nostalgic for RE 5. 1. it's relatively faithful to the tradition of the RE franchise. Meaning: 3D (tank) control method that we all loved (if not all, me at least :)), camera is a *****- glued behind the back of the character, so no free camera...

Is difficulty a serious problem for you in games?

Dark Souls is hard, but don't forget that it's also an rpg, which means that in the end, after hundreds of hours and tons of XP earned and god knows what fancy armour you will have on, it's going to be much easier as it happens with most rpg. Dark Souls likes bullying you, true, but if you have...

Is difficulty a serious problem for you in games?

Yes, I can imagine. The last couple of chapters in the first Assassin's Creed game almost drove me crazy, so I know that this game can be very nasty when it decides to be hard.

Is difficulty a serious problem for you in games?

What I did in F1 2010 was to use all the assists as well, exept for the qualifying round, there you had to turn off the breaking assist, because otherwise I ended up between 18th and 24th with zero possiblities to get a good result in the race. Nice that you brought up F1 2010, great game.

Is difficulty a serious problem for you in games?

Personally I usually have a 30% on average of quitting a game because I realized at some point that I can't make any progress on my own. Only during 2013 I had to quit many games for this cause, like Portal 2, Mirror's Edge (later I finished it consulting a guide all the time, but it doesn't...
