I believe this is the first review I've seen claiming that this movie is actually worse than the first. I didn't like Kick-Ass so I doubt I'll ever put forth any effort to watching the sequel. I never really bought into the "real life superhero" concept since the first movie made it seem like...

I still think Apple is crazy not to do something that plays off the idea of Apple Cart, Apple Basket, or something like that. Orchard, bushel--Apple is a great company name and I can't believe they don't make any plays beyond Mac(intosh)

if by bad marketing he means that the company didn't release anything of note after 2009, then okay. Marketing isn't why I haven't touched the wii in over a year. Lack of games is.

yeah, pretty much this. LttP and previous Zelda games were primarily action games, I wish they still were.

SMW to NSMBDS/W was longer than 10 years. Plus those games sold a combined 40+ million, people definitely want them. I doubt Mario64, sunshine, galaxy 1 + 2 have sold that much that much.

i don't know why you're so hung up on the money aspect of this. do you think an animal cares if it's being slaughtered for food or if it's being slaughtered for fun?

the only thing that matters is not drawing arbitrary distinctions. if you care about animals, don't eat meat and don't fight dogs. to say that michael vick is bad because he made money off animal cruelty and that purdue chicken makes money off of animal cruelty but isn't bad-- makes no sense.

if you don't enjoy eating animals, there are alternatives, and they're more cost effective too. greed drives profits from death in any case. I don't know why there's the need to draw a distinction.

Eh, weak episode factory farming is morally on the same plane as dogfighting. if you eat meat, you eat it because you like the taste. any nutrients can be had from other sources for less cost.

that's pretty awesome. I guess technically, that's not space (100km) but it's still pretty bad ass. I don't think you could get much higher than that without propellant, certainly not much higher with a balloon.
