Can we talk about the apparent culture of sexual abuse in the american film industry?

Sure. So you say "no thank you" and move on. If you comply because you want to be famous, you're not a victim.

Can we talk about the apparent culture of sexual abuse in the american film industry?

People traded sex for fame. When the fame fades, they call it "sexual abuse". Something about choices and consequences.

Poll: Wonder Woman was not a good movie in any way

I went into it expecting some sort of feminist's wet dream, but I was pleasantly surprised by it. Wonder Woman was potrayed as an action hero in her own right, not because she's female, but because she's a well-rounded character with strengths and flaws, a backstory, hopes, dreams, etc.

I'm utterly sick of Game of Thrones

What bothered me about Game of Thrones was the lack of male role models. Sean Bean, but he got killed off before the series even started. The rest of the males were either complete tools or had something else wrong with them. It also had a weird obsession with emasculation. Lastly, the...

What Games have the best "Sense of Speed"?

Funny, when I read the title I immediately thought of Colin McRae DiRT aswell. Especially when you don't know a track very well and every corner is a surprise. I also cannot count the amount of times I parked my car against a tree. x)

Why didn't people go see "Fantastic Beasts"?

Thought it was a great movie. Great characters, quirky, likable, believable. Interesting story, with plenty of drama and enjoyable plot twists. Moody, authentic atmosphere. Eventhough I read some of the books when I was a kid, I became thoroughly disinterested with the Harry Potter...

Fuck The Witcher 1. Seriously. (rant)

The Witcher was brilliant. Possibly one of the best RPGs I have played, despite all it's flaws. I agree with most of your criticisms, except for the point on alchemy. It actually says that unless you're playing on the hardest difficulty, alchemy isn't necessary to win the game. I enjoyed the...

Why Are People Against Personal Accountabilty For Individuals Who Behave Badly?

I don't agree that equal opportunity is equality. Equal opportunity is roundabout term for 'Don't discriminate', which is fair enough, but that doesn't mean people are equal. If everyone'd be equal, we'd all be paid the same amount and live under the same circumstances. We don't, because...

Why Are People Against Personal Accountabilty For Individuals Who Behave Badly?

Any concept of equal treatment does not make sense if you do not believe people aren't the same. You don't treat a criminal in the same way you treat a doctor, because you believe one to be more valuable for society than the other. The criminal is held accountable for being worth less to...

Why Are People Against Personal Accountabilty For Individuals Who Behave Badly?

Equality says that unfavourable outcomes must be caused by unfavourable circumstances, or something other than the person itself (otherwise that person wouldn't be equal to those who did achieve a favourable outcome). Accountability dimisses this notion, as the circumstances aren't blamed...

    Do you enjoy committing genocide?

To whom would you need to justify this? In your hypothetical they are a threat to the human race, so there's no need to justify it to humans. If you're talking about some sort of cosmic justice, what makes survival of one species more valuable than survival of another? What is evil to one...

Why Are People Against Personal Accountabilty For Individuals Who Behave Badly?

Holding people accountable for their actions is in direct conflict with the concept of equality.

    Do you enjoy committing genocide?

Why would genocide be justified (as meaningless as such a jusitifaction might be) against a race that needs to kill other sentient beings to survive? I'll give you the name of another race that does that and it may sound familiar to you: Humans. Is genocide against humans 'justifiable'...
