It's a Nice Day for A Red Wedding

Read it, wasn't expecting it until they moved to the location then it was obvious what was coming. The next one did make me smile. But brutally so long as Arya does OK, I don't care how much pain the other characters go through.

Trailers: The Last of Us - Gamescom Trailer

Almost tempted to get a PS3 based on that....almost. Oh well perhaps we'll get a poorly implemented PC port one day ;)

Online Retailer Imposes First Ever Web Browser Tax

Some departments in our organisation have to use IE7 because other companies have not updated their software to work with IE8 (I kid you not). If Kogan's website warns users that there's a surcharge for using an old browser and offers a link for updating, that's fine. If it just sneaks in the...

Trailers: The Elder Scrolls Online - Teaser

It may have been a hoax but the 'features' list I saw for TES Online makes me think this probably was gameplay footage.

Give me your opinions about EA (Leave out ME3)

Isn't that the company that just remakes the same sports games each year and charges full price for what could basically be a minor DLC type upgrade? Other than that all I know is that they have the same reputation as SOE, which is to say if they bought into it then it's broken or about to be..

So, looking for a good fantasy series to read...

C J Cherryh's Foreigner series, don't be put off by the setup chapters at the start of the first book. Anything by Robin Hobb or Brent Weeks as suggested by others.

The Big Picture: Mutants and Masses

So gamers cannot express their ire at the shoddy ending of a series and we should get over it? Well then to address your 'burning issues' in the same vein. If you don't like the DRM control attached to a game..don't buy it. If you don't like DLC flooding...don't buy the DLC and if you don't...

So, now that the honeymoon period is over... (Skyrim thread)

I visited some guys on a mountain that told me I should shout more. Then I took over the thieves and assassins guild...then I got bored and stopped. I've really enjoyed the Elder Scrolls games previously but for some reason this one just didn't do it for me.

    Ok, Bioware you're *somewhat* forgiven

http://social.bioware.com/633606/polls/ Poll on the bioware site with 50,000 votes. 2% thought the ending was fine though in fairness another 7% though some minor tweaks would make it ok. I've seen the 3 bioware endings on Youtube now, I'm glad I chose the Alt+F4 ending. I figured if I...

ME3 ending is it really that bad?

I must admit I chose the Alt+F4 ending as well. Ofc course it was too late because I had heard the options by then. I chose the Alt+F4 ending too, too late though since I'd already heard the options.

Earth is invaded, then we win.

Make them all work in the fast food industry. Cheap labour and if they are intellectually advanced perhaps when you order no onions you will get your food without any onions.

The Gaming World would be a better place without....

Me. No, not Mass Effect...me *points at self*

What would you write on a Safe Room wall?

Note to self: Find screwdriver and fix broken door lock.

    Dissapointed in RIFT's subscription status

I do not want to pay money for a game without an equivalent increase in content. With gas, I only pay for as much as I use. On a certain level, the same with a mechanic. WoW, I pay 15 dollars a month, regardless of how much I play it or how much they add to it. To me, that seems like a rip-off...

    Dissapointed in RIFT's subscription status

Damn but I can just picture you by the side of the road screaming at your car that it had petrol in it when you bought it. Why you should have to put more in, after all you already paid for the car. The arguements with a mechanic should be stunning too. 'What do you mean you want to charge me...
