Xenoblade's world is set on the corpses of two colossal warriors who were in eternal battle, eventually destroying each other simultaneously (at least, this is what I've gleaned from the prologue - no spoilers please). I thought that was pretty awesome. Not to mention that the world is huge.

Explosions In The Sky and Mogwai are two of my favourite bands. The former are entirely instrumental and the latter primarily so. They're both fantastic, though, and I highly recommend listening to the first two EITS albums and Happy Songs For Happy People and Mr Beast my Mogwai.

In the Aeroplane Over the Sea: wasn't too sure about a lot of it at first, but now it's almost certainly one of my favourite albums. It is literally a masterpiece in musicianship and lyricism. Also, Fallout: NV. Just could not get into it at the start (I made a thread about it here actually)...
