While this is true, you're forgetting about Dota 2, which is still highly popular even though it also has no player progression. Generally for these kind of situations a 'ranked' mode keeps people buys and climbing the ranks as a way to keep invested in the game, so we'll have to see how well...

I'm very much doubtful if there even actually is a movie, or if this is all just a publicity stunt with nothing real backing it up.

Is it really entitlement to expect to receive everything that other people get for a product you paid full price for?

I love SW:ToR, I really do. It's an awesome MMO. That's only if you're actually paying money to play however, as it has what is probably the worst F2P model out there, so I can't quite say I agree with it being on this list.

The question really is what you are looking for in an MMO. If it's amazing PvP, Guild Wars 2 is a good choice. If you're looking for an interesting setting/story i'd recommend Secret World. If you want more fun and dynamic combat, have a look at TERA. That's all I can think of for now.

Of these types of games, the one I've enjoyed the most has actually been Titan Quest. I really liked how the class system in it worked.

I was really hoping to get a demo on the PC, like they did for all their previous games, just so I could check if it ran on my fairly old PC. Now I'll have to find a different way around this problem, I guess.
