Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

Sounds like Carmen Sandiego's Great Chase Through Time

Old Games you remember playing but can't remember the name of.

After reading through these two hundred and five pages, I just have to say to the OP: Bravo. You made a thread that has survived two and a half years. I have a couple games, two from the NES age and one arcade game that I played, but never could remember the name of. First: NES era, a game...

The most 'No fair!' moment in a video game?

Probably a massive 'No fair' moment i've had in recent times was Left 4 Dead, Death Toll campaign on map 3, 'The Church'. You've fought through hell and high water(and a ton of zombies), I reached the end and, shockingly, the guy inside the church won't open the door. So he starts ringing the...

    Any GOOD fanfics out there?

I'd have to say the Doom books. They were my first fanfics, and gave a surprisingly good account for a game with very little story. The third and forth books failed miserably, but it doesn't take away from the excellence of the first two, Knee Deep in the Dead and Hell on Earth.

Minecraft Survival: Would a seige mode work, do you think?

I don't think it'd be hard to code the creepers. If you're close enough to aggro them, 10-15 blocks or whatever it is, and they can't get to you, they'd suicide. It'd make it easier for the monsters to work together, the creepers blowing up the wall and letting the zombies in.

Minecraft Survival: Would a seige mode work, do you think?

While the current game is great, it's primarily a building game with the occasional monster thrown in at night. Not counting suicide shrubs and endermen moving your blocks, it doesn't really have much of an effect on your buildings. You build a massive temple, you make a fort, a steampunk...

    Zero Punctuation: Soul Calibur IV

Excellent review, I found it hard to disagree with anything he said in this review except for the fact he actually goes looking for a story in a fighting game and is disappointed when one doesn't measure up to the plot of Lemmings at the very least. Great job, Yahtzee.

Zero Punctuation: The World Ends With You

Pretty good review, it was different and enjoyable.

The most 'No fair!' moment in a video game?

What's a moment in a video game where something happens and you're left staring at the screen, not in disappointment, but in surprise. For me, it would be in Half Life 2 when you're in Ravenholm. You've experienced your first fast zombies, got your shotgun and you're in a room where you need...
