I liked oblivion and fallout but my biggest problem with bethesda games are that I never really felt attached to any character or part of the story.

You can't die in Assasin's Creed because your character is only going through a simulation. On second tought, maybe you could die in the finale of AC2 but if you came that far you wouldn't be killed that easely. I only played AC2 though, so I have no idea about AC1. edit: @marter

You know what amazes me? Nobody actually knows what mohamed looks like. So nobody can draw an accurate pic of him. Will I get a deathtread if I draw a stickman and say it's mohamed? Probably not.
