    Zero Punctuation: Subnautica

I wonder if anybody DIDN'T paint their submarine yellow at some point. Also, the main character isn't quite faceless and he's about as far from handsome as is possible to get. Fortunately in-game you only manage to see his freakish silhouette in his shadow but don't go looking up the...

    The Problem with Freemium Games

The thing about Freemium games typically is that what you end up paying for is typically cheating in some way. If you pay for a continue you didn't earn it in game. You did absolutely nothing deserving of a continue and yet now you have one, and you can keep buying more as long as your cash...

    Zero Punctuation: I Am Setsuna

Yes. I could get behind an "intelligent" or even "competent" protagonist tag myself. Quite the minority in general.

Zero Punctuation: Splatoon - Ink Pun

You can polish a turd, but it'll still be a turd. Execution won't make a good game out of a bad idea.

Zero Punctuation: Splatoon - Ink Pun

Really looks like shit to me. It's a single-weapon console-shooter with a focus on shooting the static environment over other players. I'm sure it's extremely polished, but the core concept is one of the worst in recent memory.

Zero Punctuation: Lords of the Fallen - Imitation is Flattery?

I see you haven't played Dark Souls 2 then, because you can end up doing exactly that. Or you WOULD, if repair powder wasn't insanely rare, expensive, and mostly only available late in the game. Instead you bring a spare weapon or three.

Zero Punctuation: Elite: Dangerous - Space Truckin'

The review I'M waiting for is Divinity: Original Sin. Best PC game of 2014 and going by the (lack of) reviews it seems people don't even know it exists.

Zero Punctuation: Far Cry 4 - F**k Eagles

Which to me says stick to FC4. Once you've been through the story it stops mattering, so would you rather play the game with better, more refined gameplay, or the one with the better story you already saw? Guns are better, stealth is a little better, enemies are a little tougher and more...

6 Frame Rate Facts You Didn't Know

Actually, I would rather have 60 with occasional drops to 45 than 30 with no drops, because when 60 drops to 45 you either don't notice it at all or even with the change it still looks and feels better. The problem is when it drops below 30, at which point things start to look very bad.

6 Frame Rate Facts You Didn't Know

Ubisoft is neither. They merely put on a facade of ignorance in order to use it as an excuse. Their console games run at 30 FPS because that's all they can handle. The PC versions run at 30 FPS either because they are lazy in porting, or to promote the console versions. Probably the...

The Fast Track To Internet Infamy

No, a sentence about equality would be pretty much ignored on either side. If a SJW says it, #gamergate will just pass over it in favor of cherry picking the hatespeech. If someone on the #gamergate side of things says something about equality the sjws will pass right over it and slander them...

Zero Punctuation: Sacred 3 - Nothing Is Sacred

Finally a "fair" review for sacred 3. Yeah, it's not a good game, but I'm sick of everyone just moaning about it not being sacred 2 (which was also shit btw) and forgetting to give it credit for why exactly it is shit and what few things it actually does passingly well. I do want to point...

    Skyrim: Cabbage Rocket

Um... no? Skyrim falls flat on its face in the first two MINUTES and only gets worse from there. I guess the road between the tutorial dungeon and first town might seem pretty good.

    LoadingReadyRun: Social Anxiety Fear Factor

Yeah I had to skip through that myself... Gets better once the buzzer comes into play.

Zero Punctuation: Shovel Knight - Good NES Nostalgia

That's what I was hoping for, but this review doesn't even give the impression that he could be aware of its existence.
