If the negative criticism of the movie is picking up, it means that we're starting to see the end of the honeymoon period the movie got when it first released where people were so excited and caught up in the nostalgia and hype surrounding the idea of 'NEW STAR WARS!' and 'IT'S NOT GEORGE...
And those poor parents.
My mom still remembers the 'horror' of when she took my brothers and I to the Pokemon movies, back when they still released them in theaters, and having to sit through the shorts that came beforehand where the only 'dialogue' was the Pokemon saying their names over and...
Sounds like the right move. Mew and Mewtwo's real strength is in their psychic power anyhow, so 100 Mewtwo-sized Mews would just mean you'd have 100 times the psychic power to deal with.
Oh, you're serious. You are seriously trying to make the United States out to be as terrible a place as Communist China, and on top of that, you're trying to sell 'most of Europe' as being this squeaky clean land of sinless honesty and purity that is about as innocent as humanly possible.
I...
If this works, I full expect we'll be getting at least a couple movies based around this whole situation in the relatively near future. It's too good a story not to.
On the other hand, even if it doesn't work, we still might get a movie or two out of it, it'll just be far more likely to come...
Given the existence and relative popularity of the Ciaphas Cain series (not that I've read them myself), I'm willing to believe that there's potential for such a series to potentially be something worth reading.
Of course, it's at least equally possible that the series will in fact be worth...
The Interstate Highway system was the intended purpose of US eminent domain - to allow the government to build essential public works that provide a great, unquestioned benefit to the public good. This is something that Interstate Highway system unquestionably provides - not only did it provide...
You mean scratched out in red under the title? Yeah, that was the release date of the original Guardians of the Galaxy. It's part of the joke of just taking the original title logo and writing over it for the sequel's.
Which fits pretty well with the themes and style that GotG goes for.
As the saying goes, "Just because you're paranoid doesn't mean they aren't out to get you."
Sometimes, the fear that the government is out to get you turns out to actually be justified, believe it or not.
I'll second this. There's few things more annoying in a game than a story that feels the need to ham-fistedly take control of the player character away from the player in order to force that character to do something that the player would never willingly do themselves.
As someone who's religious himself, I thought that scene was easily one of the funniest parts of the movie, in a good way. It could be that I had at least somewhat of a better understanding of what was going on there than a lot of the film background stuff I'm probably not quite as 'in-the-know'...
Honestly, if you really felt a need to link this to Donald Trump and use it as an excuse to to badmouth him, it would have been a lot easier to bring up the time he tried to - or at least talked about trying to - get the phrase "You're Fired!" trademarked.
Plus, it would actually fit in context!
