Again, from the devs themselves:
"We were really sad that some people were so affected by it, because maybe they had been through something like that of their own. Maybe they had a terrible experience of their own that was triggered by the game. That was not intentional at all. We didn?t add...
"In Scramble for Africa, you'll take on one of the colonial powers "scrambling to explore the Dark Continent" and reach its interior."
I am NOT really comfortable with that. I'll wait to see in how good taste it ends up being, but that's a damn thin line to walk.
Judging by the footage, the film seems to be ridiculously teal and orange.
(Teal and orange, for those who don't know: http://theabyssgazes.blogspot.se/2010/03/teal-and-orange-hollywood-please-stop.html )
Well, in that case I can only say that was some embarassingly bad research on my part.
But what I meant with the ME3 comparison was that this is a much bigger game release they're riddling with cash-grabs. ME3 was a lot more brazen, but that wasn't a game people had been waiting for for over a...
"collector's edition will be available for $99.99. The collector's edition will include [ ... ] exclusive content for World of Warcraft and Starcraft II"

Great article. Still don't regret giving the game a pass.

Of note, provided it's true:

Jibberish or not, this whole thing is the thing most resembling an official announcement yet and with Ep 2 four years behind us it would be about damn time. But it might still take a while...
WOW! In these SOPA-and-similar-ridden days I really didn't think governments were capable of something like this. I love you, Swiss government and need to live in your country, like... yesterday.
Shoo, Red Cross. Art is art and as a rumination on life must be free to examine moral shades of grey of all kinds.
Art should, however, be aware of this and use it to drive home some sort of point with some measure of sensibility and not mere sensationalism to appease Marketing (looking at you...
