The only time I watch G4 is when E3 comes around but even just that is unbearabl because all of their shameless plugs for crappy shows that they have coming up.
Sure they'll rely on their other shooters more but you still take something away from them. Casual gamers do play COD for I know many. Also COD has more pull so not every PS3 owner who likes Activision games will buy a 360 but some will and it will equate in the decision of any new customer...
You misunderstood my point. What I was getting at is that Infinity Ward's COD (who is owned by Acti) is one of the top selling video game franchises in the industry. Even COD WaW, a sub-par shooter, was top five in sales during the holiday season. Loosing this franchise would be a huge blow...
