the year was 1999. my computer was a celeron 566 with a whopping 32m of ram and a massive 10 gig hardrive. with my trusty riva tnt2 graphics card, anything was possible. endless hours of unreal tournament, thief 2, GTA 2 etc. but then... HALF LIFE!!!! though it was released the year before...
