Activision is going to milk it for all they can just like how they did with the Guitar Hero serives.

This looks exactly like MW2.

Because then there would be no multiplayer. Battlefield was meant to be a multiplayer game.

You can do offline mode on Steam and still play single player games I believe.

I don't see how the industry is circling the drain. The big publishers are getting to make new explorations in what they can do with their products i.e. motion controls cloud gaming etc. And at the same time there are many more indie developers that can more easily promote their games that are...

TBH BF2142 was one of the most fun games I have played. The maps were all designed very well, the squad system was refined and the titan mode was really fun. Out of all the battlefield games I think they got that one right but it never received any spotlight.
