For shame, no one has mention Independence War http://www.gog.com/game/independence_war_deluxe It's pretty much the premier non-dogfighting space sim ever made, it's more about managing your ship and crew then 420 noscopeing. it's pretty complex though.

Ambitious developer will make an awesome game, not many people will play awesome game and developer will be layed off. See also Titan Quest, Clover Studio, and pretty much every one of these that EA starts.

The worst is people who still support PA, how could that do that to themselves? especially since their are a lot of really good feature complete RTS games on Steam and GOG or what have you that fully work without any silly DRM nonsense. They could be playing Supreme Commander or Age of Mythology...

Don't even bother, the way PA was handled, trusting this dev is just a bad idea.

Video games are garbage at the moment, they have done nothing but piss me off. I honestly wonder sometimes why I bother with them when they provide just so much frustration on part of the end user. More often then not it's not the games themselves but the services and companys around them.
