That game definitely belongs in the memorable category. It took a different approach to the SW universe and gave what was perhaps the true reality of the war.
The forest seems to be a deciding factor in the Ewok's victory. Given from other canon-sources, it would seem that whenever the Stormtroopers ventured into the forest it became a death trap.

I agree with the writer. There are some genuine Star Wars videogame gems that deserve a modern HD treatment. Republic Commando stands out because it takes a unique, gritty, harsh perspective on the universe of Star Wars.

I would recommend he account for review numbers when taking into consideration demo releases vs game sales.
I think he would find that bad games with demos will naturally do worse compared to bad games without demos. That will hold.

- Think of the game as a car. Other cars give you the basic amneties for free (AC, gearbox, seats, etc...). DS3 is the car that says it'll give you AC after 50 miles....or you could pay an extra $10 and get the AC right here...

Perhaps we should stop looking at the symptoms and look at the causes behind such incidents. There needs to be a neutral, well-informed study done on such horrifying incidents. Perhaps should look at family issues, mental disorders and what-not.
