Yeah... I got dragged to this because I have a friend who loves disaster movies. I tried to enjoy it by just not thinking about it but it was so stupid it kept pushing the reset button in my brain.
Like:
"we have a self destruct to prevent the whole station from crashing into earth" ...
The mistake would be copying any of the existing stories. They should just use the world and write a unique story, tie it in with a few of the supporting characters if you really have to.
Deus Ex's world could make for a great action movie + film noir if done properly. Advertise the flashy...
I've actually learned a lot about dinosaurs from looking into how evolution worked.... so yeah way more than Autism.
With all the mentions about Autism starting a few years ago (before it became the new insult) I figured I'd just pick some of it up like I learned about the Diabeetus. But...
It should be obvious, even just given how long it usually takes for a good emulator to come out for any console... but hey, some people need that warning label.
I'm torn on what to think about this. He will definitely start disillusioned and from everything we've seen he seems to stay disillusioned and that is likely what Hamill had a problem with. That being said it would be huge case of blue balls to have the whole first movie be about finding him...
I think you nailed it on the head with that example; The characters weren't predictable and the way they reacted gave them all depth. Morrigan hated her mother so of course she can sympathize if you hated yours. But if you told her you loved your mother you got to see a glimpse into her...
An aspect to old Bioware games I'm sorry they moved away from: You used to be able to lose characters if you pissed them off or just acted against their interests too many times.
This reminded me of one of the reasons I loved Dragon Age Origins. Each character had a like/dislike bar that...
Yeah I understand that. I mean it's a sex joke about a feminist, I can see how one would jump to that assumption. And yeah there wasn't much context outside of it being in reference to his inserting powerful women into all his works (which again, I can see how that could be taken as a sexist...
First off, it was a joke.
Secondly, Yes I would joke about any writer who keeps inserting the exact same trope character into all their writing.
And finally, you're projecting all over this because frankly you're the one inserting the male thing; I would have made the same joke regardless of...
Here is what I think the problem with the DCEU is and this trailer follows along:
People who want the high-octane action have to sit through the brooding bullshit and the people who want a good storyline have to sit through half a movie of just computer generated smashy-smashy. No ones gets a...
I've heard it said, "when you declare yourself ideologically you kill yourself artistically" (actually it might even have been Joss saying it). So in that regard Joss is already comfy in his coffin. But he's good at what he does and he has a large enough fanbase still so he's not done yet...
It doesn't full out spoil the movie but it does give us way too much information. You know where it starts, you know where it ends, and you know one of the central conflicts in the middle.
Part of the fun with movies like this is trying to predict the story line they are going to follow...
