Don't know why anyone is surprised by this. Targeting children(and by extension idiots) is by far the most profitable marketing strategy. Children love this guy, and anyone who has read youtube comments can tell you that kids are by far the largest demographic on the site.

In Oculus's defence the Morpheus is complete and utter crap, even when compared to the outdated dk1 prototype. Anyone who only tries the Morpheus will think VR is a silly gimmick that is years away from becoming a mainstream product.
