I'm currently writing a university essay on the appeal of horror fiction as a medium in general, with a side note on the appeals of specific mediums (Books, film and games) and levels of quality (Pulp versus 'intellectual')
I'd welcome anyone's opinions on all that, but what I'm looking for...
I inadvertantly logged onto twitter in the middle of all this, and watched the sites go down on Lulzsec's tweets. Apparently the escapist community were pretty hostile to Lulzsec. Personally, I liked them while they were still attacking companies who quout/unquote 'deserved' it. The Escapist and...
A victory for Texan rapists everywhere. Someone should probably check the backgrounds of the Judge and jury on that case. Maybe their basements, and any hidden chambers beneath their houses.

Well, we can't accurately predict the future, so real life could throw an SF-writer a curveball any time.
Also no matter how smart or imaginative you are, nobody can think all the way outside the box. Nobody knows everything that's possible.
We do know that it may well make more sense...
Has anyone actually made this decision for real? Possible sex could count, I guess. I've done that one.
