I really wanted HD DVD to do well because I like competition. I want PS3 and 360 to go at it for years and years, it leads to price drops and companies working hard to vomit up goodness to us baby birds. But...in this particular case...it's looks like I'm going to be going Blu Ray.

What's to be expected? We're living in an age of cynicism. Negativity is the way to go these days, from music to games to social interaction. Besides, you say anything positive about a game, a publisher, or a video game retailer and you just get accused of being a robot or a pawn. Nah...

I have a fifty buck allowance a week. With the wife in charge of the finances you'd think this would be a bad gig, but it essentially translates into a game a week, or multiple DVDs, or movies or what not. I buy a lot of games, DVDs, and comics, but I also don't have any kids. Thank the gods.

Is this a question of piracy or is this a question of secure architecture? Should Nintendo spend time seeing that, for example, the DS cannot be so easily "hacked?" I know many, many people, that haven't bought DS games in quite some time, because for under a hundred bucks they have the means...

Save up your money and buy all three. It took forever but that's what I did and now when a game comes out my only concern is...do I want to play it on a system that all my friends own (360) or do I want to play with total strangers (PS3). Then I just forget both and go play No More Heroes...
