I started off really enjoying the, like Bugbears previous Flatout games, they proved a challenge that felt fair and tough. For about 4 races. Then they proved to be fucking horrendous.
I think they're a nice little reward rather than an incentive. I never check before a games released what the trophies might be and only look at what I've missed when the games complete.
That trophy tinkle is addictive, though.
Shooting the humanitarian lawyer in GTA IV. For a game that prided itself on choice and freedom and for a story about a guy who's trying to put his bad life behind him, this just took me out of the game. They could have done so much if they'd given us the option to walk away.

The last Driver game. Never found much love for the Driver series, despite giving them all a fair crack. But this one is just fantastic. The jump mechanic works brilliantly and the story works around it really well. Superb game.

I usually turn a game off it pisses me off that much, but I was really immersed in that game and was fucking furious by the time I'd done it.
For what it's worth, Bethesda are releasing the tools in January so the modding community can go nuts.
