Zero Punctuation: Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag

I kept playing it for the ethics. The Templar death bed words from AC1 were longwinded and implausible, but awesome, and I loved everything Al Mualim said. This is why I preferred AC: Liberation to AC3. It's also why I'm a bit skeptical about this entry. I'm sure it will be an unholy amount of...

Update: Pokemon X and Y Starters' Final Evolutions Revealed

Wow, call me shallow, but they look hideous. I was favoring Froakie, but I hate offensive Dark types (I thought you were water/fighting man!). Oh well, I guess I'm Boxing my starter.

    Jimquisition: Lugoscababib Discobiscuits

My problem with Bioshock Infinite is that it didn't have the violence we were promised. In the 2010 demo, Booker walks into a bar serving well-dressed, and supposedly respectable patrons. A couple seconds later, he finds himself on the wrong side of a lynch mob. That is what violence in America...

Disney Infinity Constructs BioShock Infinite's Columbia

Combining dystopian 1912 America with childhood nostalgia makes for one hell of a thematic dissonance, and it's awesome! The Hall of Heros and Emporia sections were based upon Disney World (or maybe Land), so now the cycle is complete.

    Your favorite named weapon

I have to go with Supergood Advice [http://www.creativeuncut.com/gallery-25/dst-super-good-advice-machine-gun.html]. It's just such a damn silly name. Who says you can't be attached to an fps weapon?

    Nuclear power, yay or nay?

Pfft, all you noobs whining over Uranium nuclear waste make me laugh. LFTR's where it's at

    What is your Fetish?

I prefer to dominate, physically and psychologically. Handcuffed, blindfolded, and begging for more (I'm not fond of whips though). I prefer short girls and breasts of either extreme, though I'm not terribly picky about body types. Also feet.

    Whats next for Bioshock?

It's more a motif than a formula. The formula of Bioshock is the deconstruction of contemporary politics and sci-fi. In Bioshock 1 it's the deconstruction of resurgent Objectivism and stem cell research. In Bioshock Infinite it's the deconstruction of the Gilded Past and the Far Right and Far...

Jim & Yahtzee's Rhymedown Spectacular: Legacy of Rogues

Good poem Jim. On a completely unrelated note, I need to see a hamster about my e-stash

    The Racism Card

Yeah, being racist doesn't preclude sexual attraction. In fact, when sexuality and racism intersect, "attraction" is best described as "obsession": Asian fetishism, Interracial porn and Mandingo parties (both of which are very popular in the former Confederacy), the spike in demand of Arab porn...

Poll: When do you think you are justified in striking someone?

Preemptive self defense. If someone is in your personal space making threatening gestures, you have two choices: Do nothing and hope they're just bluffing, or knock him/her on their back as quickly as possible. I'm not a gambling man, so I'll take the second and safer option instead of giving...

    US History and actual History.

I've read that, but the topic is U.S. History, not British History or Barbary Pirates history. Don't point to an argument I've already refuted several times, then shut down as if you've won. For however much Indentured servitude resembled slavery, it isn't accurate to call them slaves. (Skip...

    US History and actual History.

I have said it isn't relevant to Modern America, in response to your question as to why it isn't taught (still haven't convinced me of its relevance, btw). I have never said it was okay. I have said several times that the practice was inhumane, and brutal, and wrong. Being forced into a...

    Poll: White-Washing in Movies

I find the phrase "People of Color" artificial because there are hundreds of different kinds of people of color who face different racial issues; putting them all under one umbrella just isn't going to work. The Japanese, for instance, may be peeved by the Model Minority Myth like other East...

    Poll: White-Washing in Movies

"People of Color" is a term that refers to anyone that isn't White. I find it as ridiculous and artificial as you do, but people generally know what I'm talking about. When it comes to communication, understanding is all that matters; accuracy be damned. I can only use the terms that the English...
