Is no one else disappointed at how stagnant gaming became since gen 7? The original Gears of War was released back in 2006 and yet here we are, a decade later, and all we're getting is just more Gears of War.

If it makes you feel any better Yahtzee, I've been finding myself doing the same a lot this past year. My best guess is that a lot of games are consciously designed to be more suited for low-intensity background-noise sort of experience, exactly the same way a lot of these Youtube videos appear...

Yeah, pretty much. I'm not one of those who cried for GoT's shutdown, but when I saw the episode I literally started laughing at the scene. The way they chose to focus on some unrelated character's comically stupid facial expressions was just dumb.

So Yahtzee's ultimate opinion on the whole GG issue and everything surrounding it is... "who cares", apparently. Can't say I disagree.
