From a performance standpoint, Dying Light has none of the problems that plagued Dead Island and Riptide. That is to say, it doesn't crash, and it doesn't have a tendency to corrupt saves. Gameplay wise, it's combat is roughly the same as Dead Island (Stamina, kicking, breakable weapons...

I think I might be the only person I know who isn't tired of zombies in video games..... and I don't know why... That being said, considering how much Dead Island and Riptide crashed on me and/or fucked up my save file, Dying Light being a more polished Dead Island with some bells and whistles...
