Any 2v2 games? Any at all?

I believe the Region Free but the Japan 360 only release of Virtual On Force is 2v2 (got a budget "platinum" rerelease BTW) although I've no idea if it's split screen or not. I have the 1v1 Virtual On XBLA version which is online or system link MP only Anarchy Reigns PS360 online MP had 2Vs2...

Andy Serkis's Star Wars Character Gets a Name

Loved Andy Serkis parts in Enslaved, if Disney make any decent Star Wars TFA games hopefully they'll use him in them too.

Darth Sephiroth? Star Wars Villains Redesigned By Square Enix

I like them especially Vanquish Stormtrooper, much better than that earlier Batman figure

Recommend me a good JRPG that ISN'T Final Fantasy

Infinite Space DS, is a must buy for anyone with a liking for space opera, it's pricey but well worth it. Growlanser Wayfarer of Time PSP is a good PS1 era JRPG that is often overlooked.

    Poll: Rayman Legends purchase?

Besides Rayman I'd recommend Call of Juarez: Gunslinger is a good arcadey FPS with a novel method of storytelling (I have the 360 version so can't comment on port quality)

    Worst and Best gaming communities?

Worst Another vote for the Sony fanbase, not only because they're the most numerous gaming fanbase and most immune to criticism but also in the way a certain popular ban happy gaming forum last year acted like it was a branch of Sony PR spread FUD for the competition while deflecting any...

What country's armed forces would you feel most comfortable fighting and killing in a video game?

I'm fine with anyone tbh, although I am getting sick of politically correct stereotypes (zombies, Nazis, Russians, for rank and file Anglo Saxon male as the main villain), what I don't like is when a piece of fiction starts bashing a race/country while also not making it clear that it's purely...

Homeworld: Cataclysm - The Real Sequel

I'd say Cataclysm is my fave of the 3 gameplay wise, it's unit types are more quirky and where remastered / HW2 simplifies fighter combat HW:C is the other way around requiring more micro control due to all the upgrades and sub weapons (EMP for the win). Some of it's missions are quite...

    8 Classic Multiplayer Arcade Games

Not a fan of Konami Brawlers since they were overly simple (fine with 4+ players but boring so with 1-2) both SEGA and especially Capcom brawlers were more technical and built closer to their 1Vs1 cousins. Seconded Bubble Bobble, that game was designed to be 2 player since you needed 2...

What is the worst video game ever made?

Lose Lose, it's a scolling space shooter that each alien you shoot deletes a random file on the HD (including system files needing you to reinstall windows).

    Female form appreciation

I normally wouldn't post in a thread like this but I do like the female form and think they do have their place in the medium. Here's what most of you missed by not buying Anarchy Reigns/Max Anarchy (and why a PC port would be a good idea) For new games I can only think of Overwatch...

Poll: Random Encounters vs Known Encounters in JRPGs

Both it really depends on what type of JRPG it is. Fast paced battles that are over quickly mixed with a high frequency of battles then random encounters is better eg Etrain Odyssey, SMT and Phantasy Star 1-4, (best used with an encounter chance indicator like Etrain Odyssey uses). Slow...
