    What is Love to YOU?

Well, I play tennis, so love means nothing to me. *Rimshot* On a serious note, I see love as an emotional attachment to something. The object in question dictates the type of love. If we're talking about romantic love, which is probably the most relevant to you guys, then I think it's...

    Farewell, Escapist

It's pretty amazing to see everyone standing up to see you off. I've enjoyed reading your pieces for years and you've always been a great voice. It's always difficult to see someone awesome go, but I'm sure this isn't the last we'll hear of the great Susan Arendt. May your path be ever...

    what surgery's have you had?

I had some surgery on my toe, which wasn't too bad. The crazy part was that I watched it. I had like four shots of some numbing agent (including one in the webbing, which didn't hurt but still makes me cringe) and then I got to watch the doc go to town on my big toe.

Poll: Is it [wrong] to name a child after a [video game character]?

For relatively normal names like Link, Ash, or Cammi, I see no problem whatsoever. I'm even on board with the slightly out-of-place, like Ezio or Cloud. I'm named after an actor who barely anyone in my generation even knows. (Forest Whitaker, if you're wondering.) If you're going to go further...

Google Transforms Any Website Into 3D Marble Maze

I didn't think it was that bad. My second site was Battleship Pretension, which felt a lot harder. The Four Seasons website was also pretty tough; it played like an online mini-golf course. Captcha: moot point. You don't have to judge me, captcha!

Who else went straight for the Escapist?

    Ant-Man Leaked Test Footage

Video's taken down already, unfortunately. I always did like Ant-Man, though, and Wright hasn't let me down yet, so I'm hopeful.

So... what's your FAVORITE movie? No wishy-washy answers!

My favorite movie changes often, but right now it's Good Morning Vietnam, with Robin Williams and Forest Whitaker. It's inspiring to me because it shows a purpose for comedy, even in the face of disaster. I love entertainment, specifically movies and comedy, and this movie helps me understand my...

New Pope Elected: Jorge Mario Bergoglio of Argentina becomes Pope Francis!

I was really hoping we could have a young pope. Not something ridiculous, but maybe a guy in his mid-fifties. Pope Francis is 76; he's not really going to have time to do anything major, especially with the current state of the Vatican. John Paul II started when he was 58 and had close to thirty...

    Two Movie Theater Questions

    1. I tend to stay through bad movies, but I will walk out if something is seriously wrong. The only time I've ever walked out on a movie was during Transformers 3, which was a bad movie in its own right, but that wasn't what made me leave. I couldn't stand what it was doing to Alan Tudyk. I left...

Most beautifully fucked up character you've seen

While Cohen was pretty messed up, I was much more affected by Dr. Steinman. His shattered perceptions of beauty and his drive to make women beautiful are so tragic and amplified by the fact that he's the first real person you meet in Rapture. That character still blows me away.

    Relationship Deal Breakers

Cheating is a definite no, as well as stealing. Disrespecting your parents without good reason, doing drugs heavier than the occasional joint. (Though I won't partake, and don't push it.) There are others that most people have said already, so here's one that's different: Taste in films. I...

Poll: Do you prefer body hair on men/women?

I don't mind facial hair on men, but I'm clean-shaven and I like it that way. I don't shave my chest or armpits and I trim below the belt unless requested otherwise. I don't like ladies to have much hair at all. I prefer shaved armpits, arms, and legs, but the bikini area is up to you...

    Funny and bizarre facts

Pretty well-known fact: Alexander Hamilton was killed in a duel with Aaron Burr. Slightly lesser-known (and disputed)fact: Hamilton did not want to kill Burr, so he fired his pistol into the air. Pretty obscure fact that may illuminate the situation: The pair of dueling pistols involved...

    Your Least Satisfying Gaming Victory

The final boss of Deus Ex: HR when you have full hacking capabilities is so easy that it's not fun. At all. Walk up, hack, walk back, wait a few seconds, done. All of that game's boss fights are sub-par, but that isn't challenging at all. It gave an otherwise excellent game a bit of a sour...
