MtG Players, I could use your help for a (godawful, terrible) new EDH deck.

The end result looks truly awful. Now watch as you win by accident the first time you take this deck out, just because your opponents keep misreading your cards and help keep you alive by countering them and the like ;).

MtG Players, I could use your help for a (godawful, terrible) new EDH deck.

The first thing I thought of when I saw your thread was indeed Goblin Game, which has already been mentioned (Goblin Game [http://gatherer.wizards.com/Pages/Card/Details.aspx?name=goblin+game]). On the creature side you still seem to be missing Volcano Hellion...

    Your lowest note?

I'm a deep bass myself. Currently suffering from pneumonia, so I'm not exactly going to be straining to find my current deepest note (or at least, not without regretting it tremendously). I have in the past sung things like "Ol' Man River" (Show Boat), "Come Dal Ciel Precipita" (Verdi -...

    Let's talk heavy metal.

I find myself rather amazed that some great bands have gone entirely unmentioned thus far. Let's remedy that! And that's it for now.

The Glam Burger (also known as the how to spend money better thread)

Jeez... that burger is just wasteful in so many ways. Apparantly someone missed the note to cooks that tossing a load of expensive ingredients together doesn't make for a very refined taste experience. I can probably make a better tasting burger than that with less than 1/100th of the cost...

What's the most boring book you've ever read?

The -only- book I never finished is a Dutch novel by Louis Couperus called Eline Vere. It's style and language are horribly dated, but where writers like Lovecraft and Poe also wrote in a different style than is used these days, Couperus -also- has bugger all to tell in his book. Seriously, it's...

What game from this past generation did you have the most fun playing?

Single Player: Definitely Crusader Kings 2. So many hours spent building families and empires; from my days as a noob figuring out the ropes as the Duke of Munster on newbie-island (Ireland) to my forging of the great Wendish Empire in the east of Europe on my last playthrough. Multiplayer...

Grand Theft Auto V "Official Trailer" Puts the Band Back Together

I think you meant "bad men" rather than the singular, mr. Chalk ;). That said, that trailer looks fantastic. San Andreas is (making me a rarity) my least favourite city of the GTA settings, however they've managed to get me interested despite that.

Strife: S2 Games' Antidote To "Toxic" MOBAs

Cleaning up the playerbase is a step in the right direction for any MOBA. That said, they say limiting communication to teammates is one of the ways to do that, which seems -really- counterproductive when you're stuck with a group of strangers trying to win, especially because it encourages the...

What song is stuck in your head?

Oddly appropriate given the sunny weather over here: Doesn't help that it's catchy as all heck.

Civ V: Brave New World Review - Trade Conquers All

I'm definitely interested in getting this, although, like Tiamat commented ?30 feels a tad steep for an expansion pack. What also grinds my gears, although this expansion is hardly the first time it happens, is why the blazes a fully digital product through Steam releases on tuesday in the US...

What do you think of rap?

While I dislike most rap (at least of the popular persuasion), I really rather like Professor Elemental's subgenre of chap-hop. It just mixes delightfully silly lyrics with light melodic rap, which everyone can appreciate.

Poll: Arrow - The Best Show on TV Today

Is it a really fun show? Hell yeah, although me saying that might be in part to me simply being a huge nerd for things like this. Is it the "best"? I rather doubt it, it suffers from some problems that tend to kick my suspension of disbelief down a notch if I pay attention to them (not the least...

Changing my name (Yes I'm serious)

Please go with Vegeta, and kindly wait for the "What does the scouter say about his powerlevel?" puns to come rolling your way ;).

Zero Punctuation: Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance

Apparantly it exists in American, but not in british English. I can't find it in any version of the Oxford Dictionary ;).
