    Zero Punctuation: Hot Coffee

I maintain that Ted Cruz was/is worse than Trump. I was relieved to see him primaried out.

    Net Neutrality might end.

I don't know about riots, but you will see lawsuits once ISPs try throttling. Repealing Net Neutrality frees them up some more options about how to run their businesses, but once their decisions negatively impact someone else, there's going to be lawyers.

Is there any way to watch Canadian shows in the US?

I have recently come across Canada's Worst Handyman on Netflix and have been trying get a hold of a related show by the same host: Don't Drive Here. Bizarrely, there doesn't appear to be any legal way to do so. It's not on Netflix or (apparently) any other legit streaming site. It's not on...

    Villains who had a point

Yeah, that whole mess was pretty cringey. Odin is looking more and more like a villain with good PR than somebody actually admirable.

Star Wars Battlefront 2 Cash Shop Disabled (for now)

Yeah. It's rare to see a game where the pragmatic side of evil is showcased. The Emperor may be a dictator, but at least he shut down that civil war and forced peace down everyone's throat. People often defend a tyrant not because they love him, but because the fear what might replace him and...

    The Zelda games and me...

They polished the heck out of it. A lot of games end up feeling incomplete or boring or unbalanced because the developers didn't polish them. Each and every graphic, mechanic, area, puzzle and plot element has to be gone over and over again to make a game as polished as Link to the Past. There's...

    Zero Punctuation: Destiny 2

The magic word is nearly. Put that together with a boss that has a one-hit-kill attack and damage calculated by reference to level and you have the enforced grind.

The Social/Cultural Ramifications of one Sex losing a significant portion of their power/purpose?

Why would you have a job when the cheap-as-free robot can do it?

90s Cartoons That Have Aged Well

I'm going to have to mention Beast Wars and ReBoot as well. I didn't even realize that ReBoot had a third and fourth season until a few years ago. Beast Wars was one of the few shows of the time - at least where I was - to have a continuing plot from one episode to the next. No status quo ever...

What media players do you use?

Audio: Winamp 5.65 Video: ffplay (It's part of the ffmpeg package) They both play everything I need them to play, use few resources, go away entirely when closed, and keep clear of the cloud.

    Introducing the new Doctor

My only exposure to the actual show is a series of reviews on SF Debris. Everything else I know about it is various hit-and-run references. But yeah, it's a popular thing. I totally believe that they'll break every bit of internal consistency to keep it on the air as long as it's bringing in...

    Introducing the new Doctor

I thought this was supposed to be the last one. Twelve regenerations and that's it, right?

When will the Comic Book Movie fatigue hit the majority of fans? Or has it already begun/happened?

If Marvel is smart, they'll find a good stopping point, like the Infinity Gauntlet movie. Wrap things up and call it a day while they're still ahead, assuming the slump doesn't hit before then. If they can do that, they'll be remembered as geniuses. Sure, they'll be leaving some money on the...

So Did Wonder Woman Stop the Holocaust?

A Nazi Germany without Hitler might be more effective, but I'd argue that it'd be quite a bit less evil. Let's say that Wonder Woman offs Hitler, Himmler, and few high-level Party and SS leaders. That leaves Goering, Speer, and the army in charge. Are these good, nice, wonderful men? No. But to...
