How EA Can Regain Trust on the PC

I'm pretty sure I can remember a very similar statement from EA last year and a very similar article following. That's why I'd rather be snarky than optimistic. It makes more sense. At this point the only hope I see for the IP being held hostage (and man, they have some really good IP) is for...

EA is "on a Journey" to Regain PC Gamer Trust

Oh look, EA is doing it's annual "Gamers First! We're all about our fans" thing. It's cute, in a retarded puppy pissing on the floor and then wagging his tail while he laps it up only to barf it back with some extra chunks of the poop he ate earlier kind of way. Can't even say I'm mad any...

New Bill Could Lead to Potential Life Sentences For Guilty Swatters

Already happened, early this year if I remember right. Dude got swatted, didn't know what was going on and shot a cop. Nobody died as far as remember, the cop was wearing a vest and I think it was a small caliber handgun. Still, big props to the police for not killing the guy... Can't be easy...

Overwatch Will Cost $40 on PC, $60 on PS4, Xbox One

I'm thinking they did. Probably Evolve too. And that's the problem. Those games died in a few months, hardly a good investment.

CD Projekt Red Denies EA Buyout Rumors

HOGODITsokay... Phew! Now I'm just going to go to my happy place and picture the well scene from 300 with EA execs instead of Persians.

What did you guys think of Spore?

It was hyped to hell and back as this amazing, mind-blowing experience where you can take a single cell organism and evolve it just the way you want up to a space-faring race and then do whatever the fuck you want from then on. What we got was 4 lazy and extremely shallow mini-game copies of...

    GOG > Steam?

That's one of the great things about GoG - client is 100% optional. It's only there to make updates and library management easier, but you don't need to have it running (or installed) to play anything.

    GOG > Steam?

I'll usually buy from GoG rather than Steam when I have the chance. I think they have the most consumer friendly service, and generally try to keep ahead of the curve instead of just close enough behind it (like Steam does). However, their practices prohibit them from getting as big as Steam...

Warner Bros Apologizes For Batman: Arkham Knight, Delays PC DLC

Well sure, because now people can (and did) refund. No such option last time. And don't believe the bullshit that WB didn't know about the issues. They did.

Warner Bros Allegedly Knew About the Arkham Knight PC Issues "For Months"

They would have known at least 80-90% of issues, and certainly all of the major ones. These kinds of issues are marked as "known shippable" during the testing process. That should tell you everything you need to know.

Warner Bros Allegedly Knew About the Arkham Knight PC Issues "For Months"

As someone who worked in QA for a major publisher, I can pretty much guarantee they knew about all of the issues. When they know but don't want to fix them for launch.. it's called a "known shippable" bug/issue. That pretty much says it all. Have no doubt that without Steam's new refund...

Building a new PC, need some input

Mostly I'm going to re-enforce the advice to ditch the i7 in favour of an i5 (k edition, that overclocking will future-proof you plenty). As others have pointed out, there's virtually no difference between an i5 and i7 where gaming is concerned. Heck, you'll notice there's hardly a difference...

    Questions on Windows 10

They are giving windows away for free because they finally figured out that PC is a massive market for software right now (I'm talking mainly games, but not only. They've already integrated their own apple-like store in windows 8) and they want a large installed user base. Since they aren't...

Poll: Can a game ever make you say "This game should not exist"?

A very emphatic Yes! Oh, I don't mean stuff like Hatred (which is really not that offensive to begin with. I've done much more horrible things in games than Hatred ever manages. Hell, there are far worse scenes in GTA V than Hatred can manage) or even stuff that can be genuinely offensive...

    In Witcher 3, Size Matters

You know Europe is a pretty big place, right? As someone who actually lives in eastern Europe, I can tell you black people are a rarity even today. 100 years ago, in a landlocked country that, as far as I know, was never involved in the slave trade, they would have been basically non-existent...
