No Right Answer: Best Zombie Movie Ever

I may not have seen a lot of zombie movies, but: Land of the Dead Lots of zombie killing, metaphor, gore, Dennis Hopper. Good fun and not as uncomfortable as other zombie movies. [for the record: I enjoyed Zombieland and the way better ShaunOTD but somehow I can't see them as "zombie movies"]

What was the last book you read and how was it?

Michael A. Stackpole - At the queen's command Dragons (kind off), magick and other fantastic things in 1763. Can't really sum it up better than amazon or other sites. The hero is not invincible and if you ever have read one of Stackpoles fantasy novels you will probably like this one...

Ubisoft ask's where the next Assassin's Creed should be set

Haven't even finished the second one yet.. but: Ancient China could be fun. But Victorian England would advance the timeline and is an interesting setting. Insane never gonna-happen fantasy options: Narnia I soooo want to kill that smug lion... or Minas Tirith

Ever read a book so bad that you actaully stopped reading?

    M. John Harrison - Light MAYBE it actually is a good book... but I just don't get it. The description sold it as a "normal" science fiction novel... but what I got was an incomprehensible mess. Present time and the future mix in a very confusing way and I could not get past the first...

Fantasy books with an original setting.

Michael A. Stackpole's Dragoncrown War It consists of four books: "The Dark Glory War" (which is sort of a prequel) "Fortress Draconis" "When Dragons Rage" "The Grand Crusade" It takes place in a fantasy world where gunpowder is a new thing in warfare, has a lot of blood and...

    Poll: Is 40K serious?

There is a small book called "The Imperial Infantrymans Uplifting Primer". It describes standard equipment, tactics etc. One "stealth" tactic basically IS parody. No one would recite a "litany of stealth" when sneaking up on an enemy.

Extra Punctuation: Hating Warhammer 40k and Space Marine

Of course. In the game and a lot of the background material they do exactly that. And it's what they are good at. When a normal guardsman would be shot to pieces, they can do what has to be done. And it all depends on the legion/chapter of the marine (and if he is chaos or loyal). Some...

"That's not music, it's just meaningless noise"

Some of my (metalhead) friends say that about some of the stuff I like (can understand why, with some of the electronic stuff) Here we go: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=IcbbstYuEYw Darkspace - Dark 1.4 Black metal about space... o.O http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=f_cHOZ8pM8g Soman...
