Was a good episode, loved it... The bit at the end with river does actually clear something up, up until this point it was sort of assumed that river killed the doctor when she was a kid, but going by this, apparently not :) which also clears up the conceived continuity error with the lets...

I feel it's more of a suggestion when on foot, just like, I'd wait until they aren't allowed to come past if I were you. In cars it's a completely different thing saying your controling a large vehicle made of metal that can do a lot of damage, people when they cross the road don't exactly...
