So what I'm reading, this is basically a HD remake of The Sims 1 after being stripped bare of anything that any Sims fan actually play the Sims for. In all honesty, any of the other iterations have more content in their base game than Sims 4 which is saddening.

From what it sounds like, its basically just one of those "time savers" DLC packs that has split into multiple pieces and sold individually. It its just that for people who literally do not have the time to unlock every little bit of content, I can live with it.

It is decent at best though it often feels like the poor man's version of Mass Effect at times. If you plan to get it though, AVOID the PC version because the mouse movement is just straight up broken or just use a 360 gamepad (but if you get it on PC, why should you be forced to use a gamepad)...
