No Right Answer: Show that Jumped the Shark the Most

Lost is an experiment. Stick a bunch of interesting characters you want to play with on a blank island and then see where it goes. The writers stay as lost as you do, maybe this leads to the most dynamic television on tv? I thought it was lazy, and should have "found" itself long before it did.

    The Big Picture: Continuity Wars

I, in fact, tend to do this with all KINDS of different fandoms. It let me enjoy the new Star Trek movie as refreshing while not eventually pooping on them. Many people seem to think this over-writes the old canon, but it's simply telling you where it lies. This is a new reality, but the...

The Big Picture: Enough With The Batman Already!

I think your missing the point, and getting it all at once. Flash has outplayed a cosmic mind in chess by running his mind at superspeed. He also has the testing knowledge of a scientist. Martian Manhunter has proven more than once his ability as a detective, and whats more can READ MINDS...

Jimquisition: Companies Exist To Make Money

See, I have this problem. I come up with reasonable well thought out arguments for things that hurt me, and that I don't want to see. I say, "Hey, they shouldn't be charging us $5 an inch to play 5 minutes of game before putting up the ticker and going "time to get another 5 dollars out of...

    Escape to the Movies: Musclepocalypse

Part of the success of Expendables isn't being talked about and feels important. Next to the old guard are these new guys. Jason Statham only started getting big after Snatch, a movie showing off that he could be charming and clever. He follows it up with The Transporter and Crank. One...

Trailers: Injustice: Gods Among Us - Versus Trailer

I'm not convinced. This game features a system that looks fatality based. When I want to pit Batman vs. Superman I'm not looking to kill Superman with Batman or vice versa. When Mortal Kombat works it's when it borrows the best from old 60s and 70s action martial arts movies, and hong kong...

Escape to the Movies: Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters

It's always bugged me, Bob. They constantly do this to witches in movies, making them either truly cursed, or just plain evil so the "heroic" hunters can come in and save the day. Not only has it always bugged me, but this is far, FAR from the first film to talk about in that context...
